In 1992, he acquired the Domaine de Champ de Bataille, an 17th century castle to which he restored all its luster. Between restoration and reconstruction work, he has made this castle a perfect setting for the collections of royal objects that he acquired over decades.
But the masterful work remains the total creation of the garden, pharaonic construction site of the 20th century which today constitutes, with its 45 hectares, the largest private garden in Europe. For Jacques Garcia, the beginning of Champ de Bataille was a thought of eternity.
